Mason Merchants Display Halloween Spirit

Gull Hummock takes first place, in the Wave’s judgment, for best decorated storefront.

Hook-U-Up earns second place. (Pumpkin pizza, anyone?)

And garnering a “Special Mention” is a laced-up proprietor of Watson’s Hardware. (Stop by to find out which one.)

Happy Halloween, Cape Charles!

Yes they are very nice fall displays. Just wondering why Bad Girlz window display wasn’t given honorable mention and orange shoe laces at Watson’s Hardware made it in. I am hoping it is because they would not show up well in a photo. Trick or Treat!

You’re right — Bad Girlz certainly deserves mention, but because their display is behind their plate glass windows it did not photograph well. Sandy McFall also deserves mention — both for Gallery 209, and, we’re guessing, for the displays in empty storefronts on Mason. –EDITOR
