FRIDAY 2/7: Antares Rocket: Space Station and Back Again

This week’s Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia is “Antares Rocket:  Space Station and Back Again.” The free 90-minute seminar will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, February 7, in the Lecture Hall of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy., Melfa.

Dave Ethington and Zeb Fisk will describe the process at Wallops of readying the Antares launch vehicle and Cygnus spacecraft for their trip to—and almost back from—the International Space Station. Ethington and Fisk are engineers with Orbital Sciences Corporation at Wallops and live on the Shore.
