The Cape Charles Business Association is raising funds for a permanent LOVE installation for Cape Charles. Construction costs are approximately $5,000 and we also want to start a fund for long-term maintenance and repairs. We have raised just over $1,400 so far from our LOVE Train! on May 3, as well as from LOVE drink and food specials several restaurants offered that day. 

Our next fundraiser is called LOVE Letters and we are selling 12″ red hearts with hand-written messages of LOVE. You can declare your love for someone special, advertise your business, and it’s also perfect timing for Dads & Grads. These hearts will be incorporated into a temporary art display that will be located at The Point from June 13 through July 4. Orders must be in by Friday, June 6 and each heart is $35 (CLICK for order form).

The permanent installation will be revealed at the Fourth of July Parade, and we will have a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, July 9.
