WEDNESDAY 6/4: Banquet Honors County’s Outstanding Teachers

The Northampton County Education Foundation (NCEF) invites the Northampton County School District’s community of friends and supporters to celebrate teaching excellence on Wednesday, June 4.  At its annual Teacher Recognition Banquet, the District’s Teacher of the Year, other outstanding teachers, and 2014 retirees will be honored.  In addition, a resolution will be presented to the family of the late Mr. Calvin Brickhouse in recognition of his service to the Northampton County School District.

State Senator Lynwood W. Lewis, Jr., the dinner’s principal speaker, will join the District’s administration and School Board in calling out the dedication of our outstanding classroom teachers and recognizing Mr. Brickhouse.  The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Franktown United Methodist Church, 7551 Bayside Road.

Tickets are $15 and available at both Rayfield’s Pharmacies (Cape Charles and Nassawadox),  Sullivan’s Office Supply, Cape Charles, and the Northampton County District Office in Machipongo.

The NCEF thanks the Northampton County Education Association and Shore Bank for their sponsorship.  Please contact Crosby Johnson at 757-331-2932, Maxine Rasmussen at 757-695-3747 or Odelle Collins at 757-678-5935 for further information and ticket purchases.
