I was so sorry to hear of Allen's passing.
My mother Neva West and my deceased step-dad Donald enjoyed going to Homestead, FL and visiting with Allen and Liddy.
I got to visit them a few times myself and their home was always warm and welcoming. Allen seldom saw a stranger and he was a kind and honest man. They often spoke of their children and grandkids and obviously loved their family and friends very much.
I can see Allen now riding his bike around the neighborhood and saying hello to every person he encountered. He stayed active -- amazingly so -- going off to pick strawberries or play golf, and I know he and Liddy enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be missed.
