A recent study has shown that nationwide, in every state of this great country, child care costs more per year than public college tuition. The simple fact is that some mothers cannot afford child care. Any technology investments that can increase family income is good for the community at large.

Wow Mr. Sacco, I sure hope those stay at home moms that are a burden to society appreciate you and Mr. Randall's run to get them high speed internet so they can earn a living! Pretty sure you just lost Mr. Randall a whole lot of votes on that sexist remark.

If you don't know where the money is coming from that is paying for a potential County project you are pushing (i.e. NOT grant funding but citizens' pockets), I can't in good conscience vote for you. Granville Hogg does his homework. Trust, too, is ultra-important in my choice of candidates: folks who keep their word, and don't play politics. I've known Mr. Hogg for years and his integrity is beyond reproach.

You just offended a whole lot of women, Mr. Sacco. Mr. Randall would probably prefer not to have your endorsement.

You all forget Mr. Randall is a Veteran of Foreign Wars who fought and put his life on the line to protect our freedom and earned a few medals in doing so. He is also fighting for his community to see every child gets the best education and not drop out of school. He wants to bring high speed internet to the people so that they can run a business from their home so the stay at home moms will be earning a living and not be a burden on society. Mr. Randall is the future, Mr. Hogg is still in the horse and buggy days. I love the future; my vote is for Mr. Willie Randall.

This clinched it for me when our current supervisor thought the $$$$ for the Highway Sewer Project was from a "Grant" when instead it comes from the General Fund-- AKA our tax money:

<em>"Randall seemed unaware that the Board of Supervisors had already funded the PSA to the tune of $130,000. Informed of this by a reporter, he insisted that the money had come from a grant, not from the County budget. But when a reporter from the Eastern Shore News repeated the question, he turned to County Administrator Katie Nunez and asked, “That was grant money, right?”
“No,” Nunez responded – “that’s County money.” </em><a href="http://capecharleswave.com/2013/09/county-halts-support-of-psa-highway-sewer-project/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">(CAPE CHARLES WAVE, September 24, 2013)</a>

Granville Hogg is financially prudent, detail-oriented, intelligent, and sincere. He puts his words into action when it comes to looking out for our community. Mr. Hogg has my vote.

District 1 has a choice. My choice is Granville Hogg, not the incumbent, Mr. Randall.
Mr. Randall talks a lot about what he’s doing, Mr. Hogg gets out there and gets things done.
Mr. Randall was on the Hospital Board when they voted to move it out of the county. Mr. Hogg was on the PSA, and when he started asking hard questions about that highway sewer project, he got dumped by Mr. Randall’s Board of Supervisors.
Those two things tell me who cares anything at all about the people who live in District 1.
I'm voting for Mr. Hogg.
