They bring their coolers with food and drink and stay on the beach during their visit to our town. They don’t support any of the businesses in town.
I believe we need to come up with a plan to charge out-of-towners a parking fee to use our beach. It is done elsewhere with good success. I don’t think any of our visitors will balk at paying a parking fee of $5.00 per vehicle to use our beautiful beach and pier and the town would benefit greatly.
