Racism is alive and well. I have to also say there is a lack of effort or desire to voice people’s opinions on issues that affect their lives. Newspaper articles are supposed to be proofread for mistakes and completeness BEFORE going to the press. An oversight for a town that small and a person who is well known there? Give me a break. Sometimes I feel I should come back home and get involved with the way the town of Cape Charles is operated. Gazette, I have a saying and that is, you can’t snow a snowman.
