People are just too dependent on their cars to move around even for distances less than 1 mile. I am also puzzled by the speed limit of 55 mph going into Rt 184 from US 13, a country road, then dropping abruptly for a short time to 40 mph, and then to crawl-speed of 25 mph in Cape Charles. It doesn’t make sense and it’s dangerous. How do you go about making this change? Is there a way and how do you make it happen?

We should be encouraging people to walk and bike across 13, but this tragic loss shows how dangerous such a crossing can be. My condolences to the family.
