Beach lace are old shells that have been pitted by weather and microorganisms. It is not a “hardened” sea foam. Sorry!

I live in Minnesota and never heard of sea foam called Beach Lace before. Sounds more picturesque and beautiful, which it definitely is with your talented touch. Next time visiting in Cape Charles (usually twice a year) I certainly am going to the Ellen Moore Gallery for a souvenir!
