Banish the winter drab with your choice of two 1-Day Watercolor Workshops with popular Shore painter Thelma Peterson. This month, ESO Arts Center in Belle Haven offers both a Beginning and Intermediate Watercolor Workshop in a nurturing and inspiring class setting.
(Cancelled due to weather) February 28, Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. — INTERMEDIATE II WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP: “Intermediate II” adds the next level of technique and skill to intermediate watercolor. This day workshop will include instruction on building on the intermediate level of watercolor painting, working with transparent layering in watercolors, the importance of color harmony in transparent layering, creating strong contrast to set stage for focal subject in painting, painting wet on wet from dramatic backgrounds, the importance of light, highlight, mid-tones & shadows to create dimension, and the elements of floral painting (Material list available at [email protected])
Each One Day Workshop is $75. Please bring your lunch.
