PEG SNOWDEN

The “fork in the road” of Peg’s music focuses on her longtime partner Chris Volk with B.C. before Chris and D.C. during Chris. Chris was well known in the Shore community and an active volunteer at the Cape Charles Historical Society, ESO, and other groups.

The intriguing journey in song begins with those written by a young woman seeking her own way in a very singular, solo style as she responds to what life presents. Audiences follow along as a now older woman, touched by the stunning magic of a deeply personal love, learns about life in partnership. Through these personal touchstones, Peg embraces the shared journey we call life.

Joining the performance are musicians from Cape Charles and across the Shore.

Scott Wade – Lead Guitar, Melinda McPeek – Back-up Vocals, Lynne Rogers – Back-up Vocals & Flute, Chris Chandler – Banjo & Bass, Ellen Grimes – Percussion, Marion Naar – Cello, Mary Dufty – Vocals & Guitar, Ken Dufty – Violin, Bob Sellers – Theremin, and Bill LeCato – Keyboards.

ESO LIVE! Doors open at ESO Arts Center at 7:30 p.m., and  show begins 8 p.m. $10 Admission.  Wine, beer, & refreshments sold. Reservations recommended. [email protected], 757-442-3226.
