SATURDAY 10/6: Shore Made Music Festival in Belle Haven

For fun in the sun, tunes under the moon it’s the 12TH ANNUAL SHORE MADE MUSIC FESTIVAL Saturday, October 6, from noon to 10 p.m. at 15293 King Street in Belle Haven.

A Shore good-time tradition presented by Eastern Shore’s Own Arts Center, the lawn will be rockin’ with the area’s best musicians, 14 acts in all.

The day-long celebration features new faces and old favorites crossing a variety of musical genres including Rock, Blues, Gospel, Country, Classical Guitar, and Blue Grass.

Performers are The Message Choir, Bruce MacNeill, 13 South Band, Theresa J., My Christina, Roland Major & the New Mount Calvary Male Choir, Ted Cathey, The Shy Teds, Lady V, Montosh, Dean & the Country Travelers, Fat Tuesday & the New Custards.

Driving it home after nightfall are popular bands Melinda & the Blenders and Mr. B & the Boys.

Adding to the festivities, arts & crafts will be for sale and a variety of food vendors will be on hand. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will also be sold.

Admission is $10 for 10 hours of jamming, with children 12 and under free.

Bring the kids and pull up a lawn chair, but please leave the coolers at home. Don’t miss the Shore’s answer to Woodstock.
