FRIDAY 2/6: Fruit Horticulture on the Eastern Shore

“Fruit Horticulture on the Eastern Shore,” a free 90-minute event sponsored by the Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia, will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, February 6, in the Lecture Hall of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy., Melfa.

George Foster will compare and contrast conventional vs. organic fruit horticulture on the Shore.

After a career in chemical engineering, Foster runs Mason Beach Fruit Farm with his wife, Joyce.

This seminar qualifies as Continuing Education for Master Gardeners.
