Roses in Watercolor Watershop with Diana M. Davis
February 12, Thursday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The beauty of a rose may soon fade but if you paint one –you create a Valentine’s Keepsake for a Lifetime. Learn to draw and paint roses, glazing in watercolor. This workshop provides a relaxing environment with plenty of one-on-one attention. Bring your own supplies or purchase for $10 extra. (Material list available at ESO. [email protected])

Private Art Lessons with Stevon Sample : Ongoing by Appointment
Stevon offers private tutoring to help challenge, motivate and inspire gifted students to use their artistic abilities to the fullest. Lessons are designed for a variety of student interests, for example, cartooning, illustrations, or portraits. Supply list available at ESO. Ages 10 to Adult. Cost: $45 per one hour lesson

Tai Chi with Jose Dovis Ages 12 & up
Jose has taught the art of Tai Chi and Chi gong for over 20 years and has returned to teach at ESO. The daily practice of these arts “brings to anyone an enhanced sense of calm, happiness, balance, and flexibility. It dissolves stagnant body energy, dispels depression, and is an overall good practice for mental/physical health.”
Winter/Spring 2015:

Fitness Classes all levels with Barbara Hall (Ongoing)
Get fit, don’t quit! Barb teaches a variety of fun fitness classes all during the week, including Dance Fit, PiYo, POUND, Total Barre/Sculpt & Tone, Stretch & Flow, Pilates Mat and Yoga. If you’d like to take more than one class per week, you can take as many classes with Barb as you would like for one great price! A multi-certified instructor, Barb teaches ESO fitness September to June.(Max class size is 15) Unlimited classes with Barb is $50/month; one class per week is $30/month

French for Beginners with Francesca Giardina (Ongoing)
This class is the foundation needed to implement your interest in the French language. Students learn the basic grammatical rules like accents, pronouns, articles, prepositions, “liaisons,” conjugation of regular and most useful irregular verbs, gender of nouns, their plurals and their adjectives’ agreement. We’ll also cover the numbers, telling time, the difference between formal and informal speech, and the correct pronunciation of consonants and vowels’ combinations. All ages.
Winter/Spring 2015: 10 week session, Feb. 4 to April 8, Wednesdays, 6 – 7:15 p.m. Cost $150
