SATURDAY 3/14: Spay/Neuter and Other Pet Services Offered

A benefactor is paying to have the Virginia Beach SPCA Neuter Scooter visit Cape Charles on Saturday, March 14. It will be parked in the old Meatland parking lot at the entrance to town. Call Sharyl @ 757-331-3037 for an appointment. The SPCA will also offer a vaccine clinic from 11 a.m to noon. Vaccines are $18 each. Cat and dog flea preventative ($55-65 for 6 months) and dewormer ($8) will also be available.

Volunteers are needed to work 2-hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some of the cats will be staged in the ESSO Neuter Scooter pre- and post-op. These cats will need to be transferred between the mobile vet vans. This additional work will allow us to spay/neuter up to 40 cats in one day.
