FRIDAY 3/22: Addiction — It’s Complicated

The Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia will present “Addiction: It’s Complicated” 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 22, in the Eastern Shore Community College lecture hall, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa.

John Bulette will discuss the various concepts and theories of addiction and how they can complicate treatment. Bulette has practiced psychiatry on the Shore for nearly 20 years.

The Science and Philosophy Seminar explores topics ranging from philosophical speculation to scientific research. All seminars are free and open to the public.
