SATURDAY 6/22: Bats, Bees, Butterflies and Hummingbirds at ESV Wildlife Refuge

Saturday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge will celebrate the great work of pollinators. From bees and butterflies to bats and hummingbirds, we want to spread the word about the importance of pollinators.

Activities for kids include crafts and games. At 1 p.m., Bat World of Hampton Roads will present an informative, entertaining program called “Bats of the World”.

The Native plant butterfly garden will be in full bloom and you can watch pollinators in action.

The program is free. For more information call Jennie Lewis Braatz at 757-331-2760, ext 123.
