FRIDAY 4/11: ‘Origin of Life’ Seminar at ES Community College

“The Origin of Life” a 90-minute seminar sponsored by the Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia,  will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 11, in the Eastern Shore Community College Lecture Hall, 29300 Lankford Hwy., Melfa.

Russ Vreeland will discuss how life arose on our planet, and will review what science has determined about how this incredible event happened billions of years in the past. Vreeland, now retired here, has taught courses on the origin of life and has isolated and studied the oldest living organisms on Earth.
