Register for ESO Summer Camp (June 30 Deadline)

The calendar hasn’t proclaimed the first official day of summer but once it does, it won’t be long until the “Mama, I’m bored” blues start playing at your house. Be prepared! Sign up your children by June 30 for the summer blahs cure, Eastern Shore’s Own Summer Camp 2014 open from July 21 – August 1, Monday-Friday. Campers have the choice of one week or two.

Geared for the creative needs of ages 4-11, ESO Summer Camp program is divided into four age groups to put children at ease and enhance learning. Blah-busting activities include arts and crafts, pottery, music, circus skills, puppets, and other creative projects. A favorite activity of campers is creating their own tie-dyed t-shirts.

Each year thanks to the generosity of the Arts Council of the Eastern Shore, children get to revel in the talents of a performer from the Virginia Commission for the Arts. This summer it’s the duo “Atumpan – The Talking Drums,” teaching artists who enthrall young audiences with interactive world music, folklore, and dance.

Wrapping up camp, children are proud to share their newfound talents with family members during a special performance.

Space is limited, reserve now. $50 deposit due by June 30.
