SATURDAY 10/5: Custis Music & Festival Is Shore Little League Fundraiser

Shore Little League will be hosting the 3rd Annual Barbara Custis Music and Fall Festival 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, October 5, at the Randy Custis Memorial Ballfields in Nassawadox.

CaptureThis year’s event will include more than just music, with an antique car show, an inflatable obstacle course for the kids (additional fee), vendors, K-9 demonstration from Northampton County Police Department, Volleyball Tournament, Cornhole Tournament, and so much more!

Tickets are $5, with ages 12 and under free. A concession stand will be available that now accepts credit cards. All proceeds from ticket sales and concessions will go to the Randy Custis Memorial Fund, dedicated to the maintenance and improvement of the recreational complex in Nassawadox.

Randy Custis, 9-year-old son of Phil and Barbara Custis, was killed by a drunk driver in 1978. His parents established the fund so that other children could benefit from the game of baseball and grow to love the sport as much as Randy did.

The festival is in memory of Barbara Custis who died in 2010 from cancer. Mrs. Custis had a great affection for the Little League and, with her husband Phil, dedicated the field to their son.
