WrestleMania Reading Challenge Runs through 11/15

The Cape Charles Memorial Library invites you to join the WrestleMania Reading Challenge!

Tweens and teens will write a letter to their favorite WWE Superstar that convinces the Superstar to read the tween/teen’s favorite book, and then submit it to the Cape Charles Memorial Library for judging.

The WWE is tag teaming with the Young Adult Library Services Association, and approximately 1,000 libraries across the country to encourage teens to read.

The Cape Charles Memorial Library staff will choose the best letter submitted from each age group – grade 5-6, 7-8, and 9-12. A panel of national judges will choose 18 finalists, seven from each grade category and representing different regions of the country. The 21 finalists win a trip to WrestleMania 29 in East Rutherford, NJ.

The challenge began October 14 and runs through November 15. Sign up now by contacting the Cape Charles Memorial Library at 757-331-1300.
