FRIDAY 4/26: ‘Roadside Flowers’ Seminar at ESCC

The Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia presents “Roadside Flowers” 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, in the Eastern Shore Community College lecture hall, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa.

Matt Cormons will discuss and show some of the flowers, many non-native, seen by the road and in gardens, playgrounds, and lawns. Cormons trained in zoology and botany and lives here on the shore where he farms and carves.

The Science and Philosophy Seminar explores topics ranging from philosophical speculation to scientific research. All seminars are free and open to the public.
