SATURDAY/SUNDAY 5/25-26: Accohannock Tribe PowWow at Indiantown Park

The Homecoming PowWow “Coming Full Circle,” featuring the Accohannock Tribe is this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.

Held at Indiantown Park, the original Gingaskin Reservation 1640 to 1813), PowWow Grand Entry begins at 12 noon on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Tribal Historian Mike “Fierce Arrow” Hinman and Chief Rudy “Laughing Otter” Hall will be on hand.

Dancers, Drummer, Face painting, Native American Vendors, Weapons demonstrations, Artifacts and much more; Famous Accohannock Oyster sandwiches, seafood, Indian tacos, Buffalo Burgers and more!

Come to Indiantown Park to be a part of our local history!

Suggested donation is $4 per person. Scouts in uniform and children under 6 free.
