SUNDAY 12/15: Holly Jolly Christmas with Cape Charles Chorale and Band at Palace Theatre

The Christmas spirit is in the air! Join us at the Historic Palace Theatre for a delightful afternoon —  a Holly Jolly Christmas — 3 p.m. Sunday, December 15.

Enjoy the joyous sounds of the season, the festive decorations and exquisite refreshments. Arts Enter will feature the recently formed Cape Charles Chorale, a talented local group of vocalists who were initially directed by vocalist and teacher Shirley Christian and are currently under the direction of accompanist and Musical Director William Neill. The Chorale members will perform at 3 p.m.

At 4 p.m., the Cape Charles Community Band will perform under the direction of Music Director Brad Ford.

Both groups have rosters that include amateur, professional, and student musicians of all ages. Their repertoires include marches, patriotic music, musical selections from movies and Broadway shows and also include works and arrangements from classic and contemporary composers and arrangers.

Arts Enter’s traditional Christmas Party will complete the evening. starting at 5 p.m. This community potluck supper is a lovely occasion to meet friends and neighbors in town, exchange Christmas greetings, and celebrate the season.  The Golden Mask Awards will be presented on this occasion.
