SATURDAY 3/2: ESO Presents ‘Pound Net’ at Little Italy Restaurant

The popular Eastern Shore group “Pound Net” will appear at Little Italy in Nassawadox on Saturday March 2.

Pound Net plays a variety of American Music and this year will perform many traditional bluegrass songs such as “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” country music classics such as “Family Tradition” by Hank Williams, Jr., and “Trashy Women” by Confederate Railroad, some Waylon Jennings and Charlie Daniels tunes, and even a few traditional gospel songs.

You will find yourself singing along and clapping your hands to songs like “Crawdad Song” and others.

Pound Net will be joined by friends Ken & Mary Dufty & Ellen Grimes, who will deliver outstanding musical talent and beautiful three-part harmony.

This show is part of the ESO LIVE! “On the Road” series and is sponsored by Bryant & Stratton College of Virginia Beach.

A performance by Pound Net ranks each year as one of the ESO Art Center’s most popular shows.

Since Pound Net was formed in 2008, it has become a highly recognizable Eastern Shore band gaining many fans throughout the years.

Whether playing at a local oyster roast, a wedding reception or a regional music festival, Pound Net is about friendship, good times, and good music.
