JULY 15-26 ESO Arts Camp Adds Extended Care

Want to send your children to camp but can’t swing the 3 p.m. pick up time? Here’s some good news! ESO Arts Center’s Summer Arts Camp will provided extended care from 3 to 5 p.m. for $25 extra per week.

Some spaces remain for the  camp that runs July 15-26, Monday through Friday, with regular hours 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children ages 4-11 are welcome to join experienced instructors as they make summer memories and grow an appreciation for the arts.

In a safe and inspiring environment, children spend fun-filled days immersed in classes in arts, crafts, pottery, a creative project, music, puppetry and even circus skills.

Every year campers love creating their own tie-dyed t-shirts. This year they can also experience the magical artistry of Lynn Ruehlmann, a Storyteller with the Virginia Commission for the Arts. The last day of camp will include group performances for family and friends.

For your child’s optimum learning and comfort the camp is divided up into four age groups. Campers bring a packed lunch and water bottle. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided.

Cost is $190 for two weeks, $100 for one week along with a $15 registration fee if applicable. You may reserve online at www.esoartscenter.org  See “Youth Classes.” Or  contact ESO at 757-442-3226, [email protected]
