FRIDAY 11/8: ‘Evolution vs. Creation: Seriously?’ Seminar at ESCC

Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia’s next seminar is “Evolution vs. Creation: Seriously?” 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 8, in the Lecture Hall of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa.

Russ Vreeland will lead the Seminar and will discuss these two issues side-by-side. He will focus on the key questions asked about Evolution events, the evidence often used by both sides in the Creation/Evolution debate, and an overview of the development of some Creation ideas and the theory of Evolution.

Vreeland is a microbiologist much of whose career was dedicated to the study and isolation of microbes from ancient geological materials.
