THANKSGIVING WEEKEND: Artisans Guild Open Studio & Vineyard Tour

Artisans Guild Open Studio & Vineyard Tour Thanksgiving weekend 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

The Tour will feature 11 studios, galleries, and workshops, featuring juried Artisans, plus a Vineyard and Winery.

The three-day, self-drive holiday shopping and wine tasting event will extend up and down Virginia’s Eastern Shore, from Capeville to Onancock, and is free to the public.

Cast and welded sculptures, ceramic vessels and tableware, carved wildlife and decoys, designer-made jewelry, knit, quilted, and felted textiles, slumped and fused hot glass, hand built furniture and turned wood pieces will be for sale, just in time for the holidays.

The Tour Stops include an internationally known bronze wildlife foundry, a design studio in a former church rectory in an 18th century village, a Chesapeake Bay winery, a jewelry studio in a waterfront Historic District, several studios in a restored high school and a working alpaca farm.
