FRIDAY 1/18: Wright Brothers Seminar at ES Community College

“The Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk,” a free seminar, will be given at 12:30 p.m. Friday, January 18, in the Lecture Hall of Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy., Melfa.

Terry Malarkey will lead the seminar, which will examine the evolution of the Wright Brothers’ research and development culminating in the First Flight in 1903.

The event is sponsored by the Science and Philosophy Seminar, which meets regularly to explore topics ranging from philosophical speculation to scientific research. All seminars are free and open to the public.
